Honda Acura RDX Prototype & Insight Prototype teased ahead of Detroit Auto Show
Honda recently teased two new car ahead of North American International Auto Show which held in Detroit. The Acura RDX Prototype is SUV & Insight Prototype is sedan both debut at Detroit Auto show at January 15.
Honda Acura RDX Prototype
Honda Acura first time designed & developed in America plus new RDX will be built on a new, Acura-exclusive platform & incorporates key design elements of two recent concepts the Acura Precision Concept and Acura Precision Cockpit. Also, it’s third generation SUV by Honda.
As per the company “The exterior styling adapts the low, wide and sleek presence of the Precision Concept to an SUV, and features strong character lines that run along the entire profile of the vehicle. From the Precision Cockpit, the third-generation RDX features an all-new interior design, user interface and operating system designed from a clean sheet. The Acura RDX is a perennial best-seller in the premium-entry SUV segment, which is on pace to unseat entry-premium sedans as the highest volume segment of the luxury market. The RDX has recorded five consecutive years of record sales and seven straight years of year-over-year sales growth”
Honda Insight Prototype
Honda 2019 Insight is five passenger sedan & it’s hybrid car. The new sedan look very attractive, on front chrome finished slat on grille that going up to the LED headlight, LED DRLs, beautiful front bumper & front aggressive.
The back side has sleek taillight that split by the tailgate, on tailgate has number plate area & bumper with chrome finish slat which add some gorgeousness. Also, it’s C-pillar style that improve the aerodynamics.

Honda 2019 Insight interior offer floating infotainment system, electric parking brake, mobile charging area, & looking more space inside.
The sedan powered by latest generation of Honda’s innovative two-motor hybrid system & 2-door launched as the most fuel-efficient EPA certified gasoline-fueled vehicle with a highway rating of 70 miles per gallon. It was the first Honda vehicle to utilize Honda’s Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) hybrid system.
As per the Honda, they announced Electrification Initiative with the intention to make two-thirds of Honda’s global vehicle sales electrified vehicles by 2030 & after launch this later in 2018 company give fifth electrified car to market.
Insight to be manufactured at Honda’s Greensburg, Indiana plant, alongside Civic & CR-V using domestic and globally sourced parts. As we as join the Clarity series (Clarity Fuel Cell, Clarity Electric and Clarity Plug-in Hybrid) and the all-new 2018 Accord Hybrid, arriving at dealerships nationwide early next year.
