Mini reveal with X-raid Team a 2018 Dakar contender, improve John Cooper Works Rally that came in sixth overall at the 2017 edition & first time rear wheel drive John Cooper Works Buggy head into 40th Edition of the world’s most demanding long-distance rally begins on 6 January 2018 in Lima/Peru.

Mini John Cooper Works Rally & Buggy powered by the 3 litre in-line six cylinder diesel engine generating 340 hp power & 800Nm big torque. There is engine’s turbocharging technology which is based on the BMW TwinPower Turbo that optimize the power.
Dakar Rally is most extreme rally & security is must needed for driver, so company specially designed tubular steel frame give maximum protection & body packed with carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) and Kevlar fabric use upper side of frame.
Mini improved the aerodynamic also & company say Buggy has already undergone an intensive test programme over the past months which took it over different types of rally terrain for example in Hungary and Morocco.
Mini & X-raid enter in Dakar Rally 2018 with seven cars and an experienced team of drivers and co-pilots. Both has new chassis, greater suspension travel & weight reduction system.
