Nissan launched LEAF a 100% Electric car

Nissan LEAF offers 150 miles which is longer miles then previous gen LEAF. The electric car give 147 horsepower & 236 lb-ft of torque which could be possible by new e-powertrain. Nissan use 40-kWh Li-ion battery & EM57 electric motor.

Nissan LEAF packed with two new technology –

ProPILOT Assist which is driver assistance technology & used during single-lane highway driving. The car steer & brake if any obstruction without driver’s involvement. There is ProPilot Park feature.

e-Pedal technology is drivers start, accelerate, decelerate & stop by increasing or decreasing the pressure applied to the accelerator. When the accelerator is fully released, regenerative and friction brakes are applied automatically, bringing the LEAF to a complete stop. The car holds its position, even on steep uphill slopes, until the accelerator is pressed again. The reactiveness of e-Pedal helps maximize driving pleasure. (as per the company)

Nissan LEAF has vibrant blue stitching in the seats, instrument panel & steering wheel got Nissan’s electric vehicles symbol. The 7-inch full-color TFT display with Safety Shield technology, power gauge, audio & navigation plus Apple CarPlay & Android auto also added.

Nissan design features include the signature boomerang-shaped lamps and V-Motion flow in the front. The flash-surface grille in clear blue and the rear bumper’s blue molding emphasize its identity as a Nissan EV.

Nissan LEAF EV first sale in Japan at Oct 2 then model is slated for deliveries in the U.S & Europe in early 2018. The starting MSRP in the U.S. will be $29,990. Also, company say “For customers who want more excitement and performance, Nissan will also offer a higher power, longer range version at a higher price in model year 2019.”
