The smartphone was originally launched with Android 6.0 MarshMallow OS. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro which was launched last year in India. The smartphone has now been spotted on GFXBench Benchmark website and GeekBench Benchmark website. The smartphone is coming in all new Android Nougat OS, which proves that Samsung is testing the software and may release the same device as soon. The specs in the GFX and GeekBench listing are inline with the specs of Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro except both of them now show that the device has Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
For the specs, Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has a Glass and Metal design and features a 6-inch full HD (1920 * 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 Protection. The smartphone is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor. The Galaxy A9 Pro has a 4GB RAM and 32GB of Internal Storage and has an expandable memory up to 256GB via microSD card.
The Galaxy A9 Pro also has long life battery that is about 5000mAh battery, which claims to offer a standby time of upto 22.5 days. The battery comes with a fast charging feature.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro has a good camera quality 16 megapixels autofocus camera with f/1.9 aperture, OIS and LED flash in its rear panel, while an 8 megapixels camera with f/1.9 aperture is in its front. The smartphone also offers a fingerprint sensor. The device offers features such as Dual SIM, 4G-LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, a micro USB port, Samsung KNOX, S-Voice, Screen Mirroring, Accelerometer, Fingerprint sensor, Geomagnetic sensor, Hall sensor, Light Sensor and Proximity Sensor. The mobile measures 161.7 * 80.9 * 7.9 mm and weighs 210 grams. The mobile prices 450 USD which is about ₹28,000.
