Samsung is world’s largest mobile manufacturer & well known for it’s premium smartphone. Today, Narendra Modi Ji (PM Of India) & Moon Jae-In (President Of South Korea) inaugurated Samsung world largest manufacture plant in India, Noida.
Samsung know manufacture 120 million units annually which is 60 million more than previous one. The new plant setup in 35-acre & if we check the history so, Noida plant was set up in 1996 & is the first of two manufacturing units in India.
These one started with the manufacture of televisions in 1997 & after in 2005 mobile phone manufacturing unit was added. Samsung in 2012 became the market leader in mobile phones in the country and the Noida facility rolled out the first-ever ‘Galaxy S3’ device.
Samsung announce in last year in June invest ₹4,915 crore to double its manufacturing capacity for smartphones & refrigerators at its Noida plant. In India, two manufacturing plants – Noida and in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu & five research and development centres in India plus one design centre in Noida with workforce of over 70,000 people.
